The government of Los Angeles County has made public the death of a 77-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Alfred Guggenheim. Born in L.A. County.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound to the Head

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 12:04 p.m.

The decedent was the only son of Felix Guggenheim and Evelyn Sklarz. He graduated from Beverly Hills High School, attended Pomona College, and studied at Harvard Law School. He was admitted to the California state bar in 1972.

Literary agent and Pazifische Presse co-founder Felix Guggenheim was born on June 6, 1904, in Constance, Germany; emigrated to the United States in 1940; and died on June 21, 1976, in Beverly Hills. His wife Everly Sklarz acted under the name Evelyn Holt. She was born on October 3, 1908, in Berlin and died in Los Angeles on February 22, 2001.
