Both hydrocodone and oxycodone are opioids, and there is evidence linking opioids to an increased risk of suicidal ideation and behaviors. Long-term use and dependency on opioids can exacerbate depression and lead to suicidal thoughts.
Studies suggest that gabapentin may increase the risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviors.
Baclofen is in a class of medications called skeletal muscle relaxants. Baclofen acts on the spinal cord nerves and decreases the number and severity of muscle spasms caused by multiple sclerosis or spinal cord conditions. It also relieves pain and improves muscle movement.
