(L.A.) Maria Chale Moo, 70, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 70-year-old Hispanic female that occurred on a street.
The coroner’s office has identified the individual as Maria Chale Moo.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries
RIP MARIA CHALE MOO (November 20, 1954 – April 9, 2025)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 12:05 a.m.
The decedent was one of two individuals who were fatally injured in a two-vehicle incident where a sedan hit an electricity pole before crashing near a Chevron gas station.
This happened by Century Boulevard and Normandie. The other vehicle was a white Honda CRV.
* Note that the government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Maria Chan Chale.

The suspected DUI driver ran a red light and T-boned the Honda SUV, sending it into the gas station.
Two other people who were in the Honda, where two women died, were taken to the hospital.
Two people from the suspected DUI car were also taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
