(L.A.) Andres Marquez, 30, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Andres Marquez.

Cause of Death: Effects of Alprazolam and Fentanyl

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 3:57 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
