(L.A.) YoVanda Frazier, 44, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Yovanda Frazier. Born in Riverside County.

RIP YOVANDA MARIE FRAZIER (January 15, 1981 – September 6, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 21, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Hydrocodone and hydromorphone (both opioids), and alprazolam (a benzodiazepine) all depress the central nervous system. When taken together, their combined effects greatly increase the risk of slowing or stopping breathing.
