Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 59-year-old Asian male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Yong Kim.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Coronary Artery Atherosclerosis

RIP YONG KIM (July 10, 1964 – June 26, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 3:18 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 19, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
