(L.A.) Joaquin Mendez, 41, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Joaquin Mendez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Complications of Acute and Chronic Ethanol Abuse

Other Significant Condition: Medical History of Hypertension

RIP JOAQUIN MENDEZ (September 8, 1982 – June 26, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 3:55 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 3.

This was a case of acute alcohol poisoning.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
