The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Yolanda Waters.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Effects of Fentanyl, Recent Cocaine Use, and History of Sleep Apnea

Drug deaths are frequently classified as accidents under the assumption that the users didn’t intend to kill themselves.
