(L.A.) Yesenia Ochoa, 33, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Yesenia Ochoa.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Force Injuries

RIP YESENIA OCHOA (September 14, 1990 – March 2, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 11:18 p.m.

The government investigator had initially spelled the decedent’s forename as Yessenia before correcting it to Yesenia.

The decedent was one of three women killed by a DUI driver in Pomona.

The violent high-speed crash happened at White Avenue and Phillips Boulevard as a group of five were coming home from a baby shower.

Yesenia (Ochoa) Olaez was in the process adopting her 11-year-old nephew Brian Gonzalez.

Victor Siharath is the name of the driver arrested for DUI.
