(L.A.) Yesenia Ochoa, 33, Died in Pomona

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a vehicle.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as Yesenia Ochoa of Pomona.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 11:18 p.m.
The government investigator had initially spelled the decedent’s forename as Yessenia before correcting it to Yesenia.
The decedent was one of three women killed by a DUI driver in Pomona. The other two were Lorena Morales Peru, 58, of Montclair, and Alejandra Olaez, 33, of Pomona.
The violent high-speed crash happened at White Avenue and Phillips Boulevard as a group of five were coming home from a baby shower.
Yesenia (Ochoa) Olaez was in the process adopting her 11-year-old nephew Brian Gonzalez.

Victor Siharath is the name of the driver arrested for DUI. In September 2025, he pleaded no contest to murder and DUI charges. He was sentenced to 30 years to life in state prison.
