(L.A.) Winndell Johnson, 22, Died on a Roadway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old Black male that occurred on a roadway near Palmdale.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Winndell Johnson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

The decedent was walking east on Avenue O, west of 185th Street East, at around 10:35 p.m. when he was hit by a vehicle.
