Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Latino male that occurred at a wash.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Wilver Orantes Hernandez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Respiratory Impairment From Drowning

Cause of Death B: Submersion in Liquid (Water)

Other Significant Condition: Cirrhosis of the Liver

RIP WILVER ORANTES HERNANDEZ (May 19, 1984 – May 4, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 1:28 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 3.
