Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Meganlee Stigalt.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Morbid Obesity

Other Significant Conditions: Lymphedema Bilateral Lower Extremities; History of Lower Extremity Deep Vein Thrombosis and Cerebrovascular Accident

RIP MEGANLEE STIGALT (September 4, 1988 – April 22, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 10:32 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on June 2.

The decedent had already previously suffered a stroke.
