Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old White/Caucasian male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Viktor Serov.

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

On Friday, November 29, 2024, at approximately 5:00 pm, Culver City police responded to Washington Boulevard and Higuera Street regarding a major-injury traffic collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle. Culver City Fire Department personnel rendered medical aid and transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital, where the motorcyclist succumbed to the injuries sustained in the collision.

Culver City Police Traffic Investigators and Forensics responded to investigate the collision. The vehicle’s driver remained at the scene and fully cooperated with the investigation. The collision required the temporary closure of Washington Boulevard, Higuera Street, and Robertson Boulevard to process the scene and collect evidence.

The initial findings indicate that the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Washington Boulevard when they collided with the vehicle, making a turn at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Higuera Street. Investigation into the cause of the collision is still underway.
