Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Travon McCall.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Back

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 8:21 p.m.

The government investigator had initially spelled the decedent’s forename as Trayvon.
