Dene/Sioux Tiktok Star Gia Pastion Died Unexpectedly at 19

(July 15, 2002 – June 11, 2022)

The family of Canadian influencer Gia Pastion shared the news of her sudden passing.

Based in Edmonton, Alberta, Gia Pastion was a Nakota Sioux with about 50,000 followers on TikTok at the time of her death.

A pipe cerenomy in her memory will be held on June 19. The wake will last until June 20, and her funeral service will be on June 21 (Tuesday).

Her family are asking attendees to not wear red.

The news of Pastion’s death comes just days after fellow TikToker, Cooper Noriega, also 19, passed away. Noriega was found unconscious in a mall parking lot in the area of Los Angeles on June 9, 2022.
