(L.A.) Thomas Fields, 46, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Thomas Fields. Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Rogers.

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt Force Traumatic Injuries

RIP THOMAS H FIELDS (July 19, 1977 – December 6, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:07 a.m.

The decedent was killed in a traffic crash in the Acton area.

California Highway Patrol said the crash happened at around 6:50 a.m. on Santiago Road south of the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway.

The government investigator had initially posted that the decedent’s race/ethnicity was Latino before later changing it to Black + White/Caucasian.
