Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Thimesa Bishop.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Johnson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Congestive Heart Failure

Other Significant Conditions: Diabetes Mellitus; Effects of Methamphetamine and Cocaine

RIP THIMESA LATOYA BISHOP (October 27, 1978 – October 6, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 26, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
