(L.A.) Terrance Lockett, 57, Died on a Bike Path

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old Black male that occurred on a bike path.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Terrance Lockett.

Cause of Death: Cocaine and Methamphetamine Effects

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 7:54 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 16, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

The decedent was found lifeless on a bike path in an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County near Gardena.

Deputies of the sheriff’s department were sent to Crenshaw Boulevard and Rosecrans Avenue where they discovered the body.
