(L.A.) Tal Mazuz, 22, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old “Caucasian” male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the young man as Tal Mazuz.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Methylenedioxymethamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 10:40 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 31, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. This was an accidental overdose.

MDMA is commonly known as ecstasy in tablet form and as molly or mandy in crystal form. It is a potent empathogen–entactogen with stimulant and minor psychedelic properties primarily used for recreational purposes.
