Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Steven Mable.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Intracranial Hemorrhage

Cause of Death B: Combined Effects of Cocaine and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease, Morbid Obesity and Medical History of Pulmonary Embolism on Blood Thinners, Deep Vein Thrombosis, Kidney Stones, Hydronephrosis, and Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy

RIP STEVEN MABLE (January 8, 1961 – September 24, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 3:31 p.m.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.

Hydronephrosis is a condition that occurs when a kidney swells and can’t get rid of urine like it should.
