Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Black male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Steven Harvey.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Heroin Effects

RIP STEVEN HARVEY (February 11, 1957 – August 24, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 1:24 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 4, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
