(L.A.) Steven Brown, 66, Died From Meth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Steven Brown.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Hepatitis C Cirrhosis, and Hypertension

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:11 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 17, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
