Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Stephon Sellers.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy

Cause of Death B: Streptococcus pneumoniae Meningitis

Cause of Death C: Covid 19 Pneumonia

Other Significant Condition: Methamphetamine Use

Because of the meth, this is considered an accidental drug overdose.
