(L.A.) Stephen Gonzales, 14, Died from Fentanyl

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 14-year-old Latino male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the teenager as Stephen Gonzales.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

RIP STEPHEN GONZALES (August 26, 2008 – July 5, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:52 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 10, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.
