Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Stephany Espinoza.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Pulmonary Thromboembolism

Cause of Death B: Complications of Pregnancy

RIP STEPHANY ESPINOZA (September 3, 1989 – April 28, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 12:20 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on June 13, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
