Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old Caucasian female that occurred at a freeway on-ramp.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as Stephanie Osborne, resident of Long Beach Boulevard in the 90801.
Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Martinez.

At approximately 9:02 p.m., Long Beach Police officers responded to a solo-vehicle collision at the intersection of southbound Lakewood Boulevard and the northbound 405 Freeway on-ramp. Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle engulfed in flames. Long Beach Fire Department ultimately discovered an adult female driver deceased inside the vehicle.
The preliminary investigation determined that a 2012 Chrysler 300, driven by the woman, was traveling southbound on Lakewood Boulevard when it collided with a freeway sign and guard rail at the ramp to the 405 Freeway. No other vehicles or occupants were involved in the collision.
