Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Stacy Rice.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death A: Cardiogenic Shock
Cause of Death B: Congestive Heart Failure
Cause of Death C: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease
Other Significant Condition: Methamphetamine Effects

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.
The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Andrew Jones.
