Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 3-year-old male of Hispanic/Latin American ethnicity that occurred at a residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the child as Solomon Doughton.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Smoke Inhalation and Thermal Injuries
RIP SOLOMON DOUGHTON (December 5, 2019 – March 5, 2023)
The decedent died early on Sunday morning in an apartment fire along with his baby sister Luna and paternal grandmother Georgina Yracheta.
According to authorities, the blaze began shortly before 1:00 a.m. at a building in the 1900 block of East Amar Road, West Covina.
