(L.A.) Georgina Yracheta, 54, Died in Apartment Fire

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old female of Latin American ethnicity that occurred at a private residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Georgina Yracheta.

Cause of Death: Smoke Inhalation and Thermal Injuries
RIP GEORGINA YRACHETA (November 9, 1968 – March 5, 2023)
The decedent and her two grandchildren died early on Sunday morning in an apartment fire.
According to authorities, the blaze began shortly before 1:00 a.m. at Rollingwoods Apartments in the 1900 block of East Amar Road, West Covina.
Yracheta was babysitting three-month old Luna Doughton and three-year-old Solomon Doughton while their parents were out on a date.
Enrique Doughton, the children’s father, was Yracheta’s son.

The fire apparently started downstairs, likely the kitchen, while the decedent and her two grandchildren were asleep on the second floor.
