(L.A.) Luna Doughton, Baby Girl, Died in Apartment Fire

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a female of Latin American ethnicity that occurred at a residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the child as Luna Doughton.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Smoke Inhalation and Thermal Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 1:35 a.m.
The medical examiner listed the infant’s age as 4 months and 15 days. She actually lived for 3 months and 7 days.
The decedent died early on Sunday morning in an apartment fire along with her older brother Solomon and paternal grandmother Georgina Yracheta.
According to authorities, the blaze began shortly before 1:00 a.m. at a building in the 1900 block of East Amar Road, West Covina.
