(L.A.) Sofia Alcazar, 54, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Sofia Alcazar.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

RIP SOFIA ALCAZAR (February 1, 1970 – September 1, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 3:57 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.

This was either a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or cardiac arrest.
