Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 74-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Shirley Williams.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Sudden Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP SHIRLEY WILLIAMS (January 15, 1950 – July 27, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 5:52 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 17, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
