(L.A.) Jose Ibarra Reyes, 66, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jose Ibarra Reyes.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Ruptured Cerebral Aneurysm

Other Significant Conditions: Atrial Fibrillation, Amphetamine Use (Clinical)

RIP JOSE IBARRA REYES (October 21, 1957 – July 22, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 4:14 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 28. This is considered an accidental drug overdose.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Jose De Jesus Ibarra.
