(L.A.) Shane Wielinga, 37, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Shane Wielinga.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Acetyl Fentanyl, and Methadone

RIP SHANE WIELINGA (March 1, 1986 – May 25, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 2:20 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 17, presumably after the results of tox screening came back.

This was an accidental drug overdose.
