The coroner’s office identified the man as Shamale Bray Sr..

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Alcohol Effects

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 6:53 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 28, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, substance overdose.
