Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Latino male that occurred in a group home.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Sergio Garcia.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Ethanol, Fentanyl, and Methamphetamine

RIP SERGIO GARCIA (June 24, 1993 – February 27, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 11:40 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 9, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
