Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old Black male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Scott Craft.

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Effects

RIP SCOTT CRAFT (December 4, 1981 – September 8, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 10:06 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 10, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug. This was an accidental overdose.
