(L.A.) Santiago Gutierrez, 57, Died at Reseda Park

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old Latino male in the Tarzana area.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Santiago Gutierrez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Drowning

Other Significant Condition: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

RIP SANTIAGO GUTIERREZ (January 13, 1968 – March 21, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 1:55 p.m.

The decedent was pulled unresponsive from a lake at Reseda Park.

LAFD had responded to the 6300 block of North Etiwanda Avenue at around 1:10 p.m. after receiving reports of a person in a lake.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 24.
