(L.A.) Santiago Chaguaj Yac, 31, Died in an Alleyway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Latino male that occurred in an alleyway.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Santiago Chaguaj Yac.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-August, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Chaguaj and Yac are distinctly Guatemalan surnames.
