(L.A.) Samuel Rucker, 52, Died at a Transient Encampment

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old male of still-undetermined ethnicity that occurred at a transient encampment.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Samuel Rucker.

STATUS: The decedent’s body has been released. Ruling by the deputy medical examiner is deferred pending additional investigation.

Manner and cause of death will be added to this page when it becomes available.

Because the DME has ordered toxicological screening, the next public update could take four to eight months.
