(L.A.) Rufino Recinos, 80, Died on the 57 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 80-year-old Latino male that occurred on the Orange (57) Freeway in Rowland Heights.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Rufino Recinos.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries

RIP RUFINO RECINOS (January 9, 1943 – May 29, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 1:48 p.m.

California Highway Patrol said the incident happened at around 1:25 p.m. just north of Brea Canyon Road.
