(L.A.) Michael Onaga, 56, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old “White/Caucasian” male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Michael Onaga.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Effects

Other Significant Condition: Hypertensive Heart Disease

RIP MICHAEL ONAGA (October 25, 1966 – May 19, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 4:21 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 20, presumably after the results of tox screening came back.
