(L.A.) Ruben Romero, 43, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Latino male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ruben Romero.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Ethanol Intoxication

Other Significant Condition: Alprazolam Use

RIP RUBEN ROMERO (May 14, 1981 – May 13, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 7:32 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in early September, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
