Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 70-year-old Hispanic male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ruben Rodriguez.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Traumatic Diffuse Subarachnoid Hemorrhage

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 12:15 a.m.

The decedent was involved in a fistfight. He was punched in the face, fell to ground and became unresponsive. Call was made to 911. Upon arrival, firefighters/paramedics declared him deceased. No suspect in custody as of that day.

The middle name is commonly spelled as Villalvazo.
