(L.A.) Roy James Edward Duncan, 43, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Roy James Edward Duncan.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Cocaine Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: History of Congestive Heart Failure

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
