Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Black male that occurred at a credit union.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Roderick Jefferson.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP RODERICK JEFFERSON (February 14, 1959 – May 1, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 3:25 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 17, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
