(L.A.) Belle Halpern Duncan, 20, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the young woman as Belle Halpern Duncan.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine

Other Significant Condition: Complications of Diabetes Mellitus

RIP BELLE ARIN HALPERN-DUNCAN (March 25, 2005 – May 2, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 9:53 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 2, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
