(L.A.) Robin Butler, 42, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Black female that occurred on a street in the South Bay area.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Robin Butler of Compton.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

RIP ROBIN BUTLER (February 16, 1983 – September 7, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

Gardena PD said the decedent was hit by a vehicle at around 10:20 p.m. in the 14800 block of Western Avenue.

The driver would later surrender to police.
