(L.A.) Robert Schubert, 29, Died in a College Dormitory

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a college dormitory.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Robert Schubert of Burbank, California. Born in Glendale, L.A. County.

STATUS: The decedent’s body has been released. Ruling by the deputy medical examiner is deferred pending additional investigation.

Manner and cause of death will be added to this page when it becomes available.

If the DME has ordered toxicological screening, the next public update may take six to nine months.

RIP ROBERT WAYNE SCHUBERT (September 17, 1994 – April 12, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 6:50 p.m.

This apparently was a cardiac arrest from a drug overdose on the ninth floor of the Neve Holly dormitory of UCLA. The dorm had no Narcan on the premises.
