(L.A.) Robert Francis, 37, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a street in DTLA.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Robert Francis.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday morning.

The decedent was walking in the area of 9th Street and Towne Avenue at around 2:10 a.m. when he was hit by a red Nissan Kicks car.

Later, the vehicle’s 22-year-old driver, Orlando Larios, was arrested for felony DUI.
